Online Survey: Social Justice and Native Title Reports

Australian Human Rights Commission media release:

Mick Gooda, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner, is seeking your feedback on the Social Justice and Native Title Reports through the survey in the link below.

As you are aware, the Commissioner has a statutory obligation to report annually to Parliament in accordance with the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) and the Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986 (Cth). Since the appointment of the first Social Justice Commissioner in 1993, this has taken the format of two significantly-sized reports each year.

In order to ensure that the Commissioner is producing reports that both meet his statutory obligation to report to Parliament and provide relevant information to community and government organisations, the Commissioner would like to hear your views on the format, usability and content of these reports.

Here is a link to the survey, which will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. The survey will remain open for two weeks – until 15 July 2011. A summary of the outcomes will be provided to participants.

We appreciate your support in this endeavour and thank you in advance for your participation.
